Cade's 1st Christmas!

As expected, Cade's 1st Christmas was a blast!!! So much fun & so memorable! I kept hearing over and over about how he wouldn't care about anything but he seemed thrilled with some of the toys he got... he was (usually) totally uninterested in the bows & paper and he seemed to really take it all in. He got a ton of toys & goodies... and yes, our house looks like it might explode! I am not sure how we will survive with the contents of the toy aisle spread across our living room floor... but I guess as long as he has fun, that's all that counts.

Of course, we have pictures... LOTS of pictures!!!

I got this little monkey hat at the mall last weekend & it's been such a hit! Everywhere we go, Cade gets compliments on how cute his hat is!






Pretty sure he was making his motor boat sound here... his favorite thing to do anymore...

Yes, it's 11:30 p.m. and yes, I should be in bed... but I just had to share a few more shots from the other day... lots of smiles ;) Lots of cuteness!

He was watching cartoons when I snapped these... he loves those Little Einsteins!




I really have to wonder how many dimples my kid is going to have! So far, I'm seeing 2 sets and they'll probably become more obvious once his chubby cheeks aren't quite so chubby, LOL. I love it!

This vid is from this morning... Cade is excited to be 9 months old! He's just been bouncing so high in the past week or so... looks like fun! And yeah, I give you a little peek of my tree & Christmas decor at the end ;)


This was from the other night... the night when he wouldn't go to bed until like 10:00 p.m.!!! He was so hyper for some reason... Cute though!

9 Months...

Cade is 9 months old today!

He officially has 2 teeth... he is eating more solids & finger foods all the time... he is starting to get up on all 4s, not quite there yet, but he tries... he can pretty much army crawl or roll to where he wants to be... he can stand for a few seconds if he's supported by the couch or a chair... he is starting to "walk" when you hold his fingers... he is a jumping machine...

First thing this morning... have to PLAY!


His FAVORITE thing is to roll underneath the coffee table & scratch it.

Cade Saw Santa!!!

I'm so proud of my baby boy! He LOVED Santa! I was so afraid he'd scream but he was all smiles -- well, except for when they took his picture, as you can see! After the picture, Santa turned Cade around & laid him up on his belly and started pinching on his cheeks... Cade just patted Santa's face & beard. It was so cute :)



edited to add: I just noticed something, Cade has cut his 2nd tooth today! Wow, what a day! :)

Fa la la la la... Cade Updates!

I was just informed that there are only 2 weekends before Christmas! Wow.

Updates... our tree is up & Cade LOVES it. He has learned how to bounce/jump in his exercauser (videos coming soon!) Still no crawling but he has attempted a few times to get up on all fours. He only makes it about half way but at least he's trying. He is doing better with actual solid table foods. He has been eating cookies & yesterday he ate half of a cereal bar (like the Nutrigrain bars, only for babies) I was actually a little shocked that he didn't even gag on it. He'll be eating steak & potatoes before we know it!
