Our dog, Maggie, passed away this afternoon.
She had been sick for a few days...
My heart is broken.
I'm especially sad because Cade loved her so much.
And she love Cade so much.
Just glad he's too little to understand.
A boy's best friend...
She always made Cade laugh...
She was smart...
Protective...
A free spirit...
A playmate...
She was high strung, for lack of a better word.
She pushed her boundaries.
She loved life.

Thanks Christa for the memorial. We'll miss her so much. There were red cardinal birds all around her dog lot on Friday, going in and out of the chain links. It was something we had never seen before but discussed between ourselves after she passed.

Oh Christa... what a beautiful tribute. Adam's dog (a husky), Shadow, passed away when Ben was still really little. I think he would have loved Shadow as much as we did. The pictures you took are so beautiful and I love your new header. Hugs...
